|
hello, im new here and havent worked on computers in some time so please forgive some ignorance on my part, but im currently torn between building a new desktop comp or buying one from store. If i buy from the store i'll end up upgrading the graphics card and hard drive probably pretty soon anyway, but also the memory..which brings me to my problem
i have looked at different websites looking for new memory amounts but what i find is usually 1 and 2 gb sticks, are there 4 gb sticks out there now and are they expensive if they are..because the stores dont seem to sell them if they are available (i ask because the comps i've looked at buying seem to be filled with 2 gb sticks even the expensive comps)
thanks for any help |

| Sure, there are 4Gig sticks as well, but the type of memory and the maximum memory it takes all depends on the motherboard model you have in your system, find out the model name of the motherboard you would be going with and we can find exact memory type and max. |
