I bought a new Radeon 9800 Pro 128M video card about 1yr ago and it was working fine, but now its not working at all. Did all basic troubleshooting--made sure it was seated properly, checked monitor with laptop so its not the monitor, checked plugs for everything, not overheating either, updated drivers, but no luck...this is the second time I have had to replace my video card.
I was just using it for e-mail nothing fancy. Started noticing that with Windows Media player (using the visualizations or fancy art work) the screen looked like an old TV that wasnt getting a good signal--black and white lines going horizontally on the screen.
I have 1G RAM, so I thought that might be enough to run the video card w/out any problems. Any suggestions? |

| Looks like the video card is gone bad, get NVidia graphic cards with PCIE this would be much better. |
